Odakyu Odawara Line

The project I am currently working on is the Odakyu Odawara Line, operated by Odakyu Electric Railway. The route starts at Shibuya, Tokyo, and heads for Odawara, Kanagawa Prefecture.
While the real route with about 82.5 km and 47 stations is way too long to recreate in detail, I want to create a believable reproduction of the first few stations, and then see how far I can go beyond that.

Stations

This is a list of the first five stations, along with some real-world images from around the locations.

Overview of Current Progress

Teaser Some of the most prominent scenes in the route will be reproduced so that everyone who has seen the real line should have no problems in recognizing it in the reproduction.
Teaser Compared to the rather simplistic catenary in Chashinai Railway, the Odakyu Odawara Line will feature photo-realistic - and in most places believable - overhead equipment, of course subject to simplifications.
Teaser Some of the most prominent buildings and structures will be reproduced so that they are easily recognizable, while other less prominent buildings will be non-accurate.
Teaser The track geometry for the 1067 mm gauge track is built completely from scratch, based on a 20 m block system. The trains in the route will feature a semi-realistic, semi-fictional interpretation of OM-ATS, the safety system used on the Odakyu Odawara Line.
Please note that all images found on this page were taken from material that is still in a very raw stage. Improvements will be made over time.
It will take at least a few months to reach my first goal of creating the first five stations, but I will upload more images and describe the things I am working on as time goes by.
